KUROYAMA   KAI

MEMBERSHIP & FEES

Unlike some other martial arts clubs that train at the ANU Sports & Recreation Association (SRA), membership of the SRA is NOT a requirement to train with the Kuroyama Kai.  

However membership of the ACT Kendo Renmei (ACTKR) and the Australian Kendo Renmei  (AKR), the state and national bodies responsible for Iaido and Kendo, is required and is paid at the time of joining Kuroyama Kai. 

ACTKR and AKR membership includes: 

• training insurance;
• eligibilty to participate in AKR and affilliated state seminars and competition; and
• eligibility to participate in an internationally-recognised grading system.

Fees:

     $20 AKR annual membership fee ($10 for under 16's)

             - $10 AKR registration in Jodo (if applicable)

             - $10 AKR registration in Iaido (if applicable)

     $20 ACT KR joining fee (once only lifetime fee) 

     $30 ACT KR annual membership fee

The Kuroyamakai does not charge a joining or annual membership fee - only a training fee schedule based on periodical options.
